Sleeved Double Open-Ended XRF Sample Cups have Integrated Internal Overflow Reservoirs and Vented Snap-On Caps

In response to the most current needs of the analyst, Style 2100 XRF Sample Cups incorporates many features. Attachment of virtually any gauge thin-film window is achieved with an easy-to-handle sleeve designed to maintain a taut sample plane with progressive attachment steps. At completion, an effective seal is established. Excess thin-film window material is enveloped between the sleeve and cup reducing or completely eliminating trimming.

An internal reservoir is integrated in the cell that also serves as a fill limit. Any sample over pours or expansion, spills into the cell reservoir and reduces the likelihood of contamination to the sample chamber. An integrated flange on the cell mechanically stops the sleeve from over extension that may affect the sample plane distance from the excitation source and influence analytical accuracies.

The Snap-On Cap has a through hole providing a passage for maintaining equalization of pressure within the sample cup and sample chamber and ensuring a flat sample support plane. When assembled, a series of barriers is established to further reduce the potential possibility of withdrawal into the system.
