Top Loading Double Open-Ended Snap-On Ring Assembly with Collar
Top sample loading allow pre-attachment of thin-film windows for containing samples not influenced by pressure differentials between the sample cups and the sample chamber. Retains loose powders and non-volatile liquids in air or inert gas. Flange on upper portion permits gripping for robotic applications. Collar serves two functions: temporarily holds thin-film window in position for securing Snap-On Ring and permits “sandwiching” thin-layered powdered or liquid droplets between two pieces of thin-film. The Snap-On Ring firmly secures the thin-film window for a leak-resistant seal and forms a flat sample plane.

32 mm diameter XRF Sample Cups are also available with an integrated serrated cutting edge for thin-film trimming in the Snap-On Rings. Averts handling static-prone clippings.
To facilitate sample preparations, use the Palm Held Fastener or Snap-On Ring Fastener to attach thin-film windows.
