Top Loading Double Open-Ended Snap-On Ring Assembly with Dual Pressure Equalization Features
Top sample loading permits pre-attachment of thin-film windows. Two Snap-On Rings are furnished; one for thin-film windows and the other for affixing Microporous Film or Vented Snap-On Caps on the flanged end of the cell. Microporous Film is a polypropylene gas permeable membrane that allows withdrawal of entrapped air in the sample cup for pressure differential control. Vented Snap-On Caps have several slits for venting and form a series of internal barriers that help resist inadvertent withdrawal of powdered sample materials.

Snap-On Rings form wrinkle-free leak-resistant thin-film sample planes that resist deformation in vacuum or inert gas environments. The 32 mm diameter XRF Sample Cups are also available with serrated cutting edges on the Snap-On Rings for trimming Microporous Film and excess thin-film materials; averts contending with annoying static-electrical charges. The handy Palm Held Fastener facilitates attached thin-film windows.
