Single Open-Ended Snap-On Ring Assembly with Selective Venting Provision and External Overflow Reservoir
A unique variation of providing an alternate means for maintaining pressure equalization is by a controllable venting feature established between the assembled cap and cell. By orienting the snap-on cap in a single specific position, a vent passage is established; all other positions seal the sample cup contents. The cap also doubles as a reservoir for capturing sample overflows.

The intricate Snap-On Ring design ensures secure taut thin-film window preparations, flat sample planes and leak-resistant seals. The 32 mm diameter XRF Sample Cups are available with serrated edged Snap-On Rings for trimming excess thin-film window projections. Avoids handling annoying static-electrically charged clippings. Facilitate thin-film attachment with the Palm Held Fastener.
