XRF Sample Cup Accessories

A variety of accessories are available to facilitate attaching Thin-Film Windows and Snap-On Rings to XRF Sample Cups and for easily puncturing vent holes through thermoplastic seals. These devices are handy for routine and especially for high sample throughput.

SNAP-ON RING FASTENER

Designed for Snap-On Ring assembly sample cups. Aligns and applies a uniform pressure to Snap-On Ring for wrinkle-free sample planes. Place sample cup on platform, insert window and Snap-On Ring over sample cup, depress handle.

PALM HELD FASTENER

Held in the palm of the hand, this easy-to-use device greatly facilitates affixing windows to Snap-On Ring and Sleeved sample cup assemblies. Designed to accommodate nominal 32, 40 and 43 mm diameter sample cups. Establish taut sample window planes by ensuring unified applied hand pressure.

VENT HOLE PUNCH

Easily create uniform vent holes in sample cups integrating thermoplastic seals. Position on top of the sample cup and gently push down. A vent hole is punctured through the thermoplastic seal creating an evacuation path for eliminating pressure differentials.
